How we test browser games
No scraped link lists. Every game on this site is opened by hand, played for a few minutes and labelled before it goes live.
What we do for every entry
What our labels mean
- Plays instantly: the game is interactive within seconds on a normal connection. No download, no account, no setup.
- May need setup: a WebAssembly build has to fetch its data first, or the page wants a click before it starts. It still installs nothing.
- Bring game files: the project is an engine port and expects data files from a copy of the game you own. We never host, link to, or provide those files.
- Multiplayer games are labelled separately because they depend on live servers we do not run.
What we will not do
- We do not host game files, installers, launchers or ROMs, and we do not link to pages that push them.
- We do not take payment, sponsorship or affiliate links for placement.
- We do not publish a game we have not opened ourselves, and we do not keep a link that has stopped working.
- Every screenshot is either captured by us or labelled as coming from the games round-up this directory was built from. The caption under an image always says which it is, and when a project refuses to render in a test browser we show our own placeholder art rather than inventing a screenshot.
When something changes
These projects are hobby builds on small servers. A game that works today can be gone next month, or move to a new domain. When we find a dead link we remove the entry rather than leave a broken Play now button, and when a game moves we repoint it.
If you find something that is wrong, out of date or missing, tell us and we will re-test it.
Corrections
Screenshots are taken by us from the running game. If you are a project owner and want an entry changed or removed, email hello@radiantoptimizer.games and we will act on it.
